DESCRIPTION
Gas Circuit Breaker (GCB) is a switch, which by its excellent extinction performance and insulation feature of the SF6 gas, can input the normal current generated in the power system or block abnormal current.
Our puffer-type SF6 GCB, with superior arc-quenching and insulation characteristics, is a dead tank type where the breaker is directly and mechanically earthed. With reduced failure rate and high reliability for frequent circuit operations, it boasts the best supply record domestically.
FEATURES
- Simple operation principle and structure
Puffer-type single pressure breaking principle simplifies the structure since no anti-liquefaction device is necessary.
- No performance degradation resulting from interpolar contamination or damage
By using the dead tank type, the bushing only needs to be considered for ground insulation which greatly reduces the possibility for degradation due to interpolar unbalance, which results from damage to an insulator.
- Excellent breaking performance
Kian Tajhiz’s GCBs have been verified by national test agencies and as they ensure excellent breaking performance, even under harsh recovery voltage conditions such as failure of local lines or accidents, including abnormal grounding or step-out.
Breaking position is of adequate height, enabling easy checking of the interior
- High reliability of frequency switching performance
The dead tank type, where the breaking and driving units are mechanically connected, offers high performance for frequent switching with fewer failure factors.
When breaking, the gas is on hold and not emitted into the air. Therefore, when GCB operates, it generates low noise levels allowing it to be suitable for installation in downtown or outdoor residential areas.
